Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair Linear Accelerators (Linacs) and associated radiotherapy equipment in hospitals and cancer treatment centers, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Provide technical support in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment;
- Provide technical advice and consultation to customer on product related enquiry, including linac systems
- Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting of Linac systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, to minimize equipment downtime.
- Monitor the Preventive Maintenance program to ensure minimal disruption to operations and to ensure that medical equipment is safe for use at all the times
- Respond to customers requests by troubleshooting problems and take corrective actions within targeted timeline;
- Attending to daily service requests, breakdowns and provide service support;
- Attend all emergency calls during office or non-office hours, including weekend and Public Holidays;
- Provide good services to the stakeholders; ensuring high level of customer satisfaction
- Develop strong customer relationships, negotiating and closing contracts and developing the technical services business;
- Ensure that all scheduled servicing and reactive maintenance tasks are completed on time and in full;
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs to stay updated with evolving Linac technologies and service methodologies.
- Any other duties as assigned by the service manager, including support for other radiotherapy or diagnostic imaging systems as needed.
Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)
- Minimally possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics , Electrical & Computer Engineering & Biomedical Engineering
- Strong background and understanding in electronics, electromechanical
- Knowledge in Information Technology and/or a wide range of medical product
- Minimum 3 years of field experience in the medical industry
- Candidates with experience in servicing Linac, CT & MRI will have added advantage
- Possess good troubleshooting skills
- Able to travel locally and overseas as and when required
- Able to perform shift and standby duties; must be able to work at odd hours weekends and public holidays
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
