Job Title: Service Engineer (Electrical)
Job Description & Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, maintenance, and support services to ensure the efficient operation of marine electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for marine vessels
- Install and commission electrical systems on ships
- Supervise marine engine technicians and related works
- Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment
- Perform maintenance and repair of electrical systems and components
- Design cable tray routing and determine electrical panel positioning
- Prepare single-line diagrams for lighting and electrical panels
- Supervise installation, cabling, and termination of electrical equipment
- Independently test and commission electrical panels
- Conduct system surveys and present findings to relevant authorities
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in marine electrical systems and shipyard operations
- Ability to work independently and supervise a team
- Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
