Job Scope
The Service Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Commissioning of new products on-site.
- Servicing, troubleshooting, and rectification of installed products.
- Conducting customer and distributor training sessions.
- Performing preventive maintenance, including cycle parts replacement, to minimize system downtime.
- Documenting maintenance activities, incidents, and repair works accurately.
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols, including the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
- Responding promptly to emergencies and power outage situations.
- Keeping up to date with industry advancements and best practices.
Requirements
- Education: NITEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience experience with Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) will be an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
- Familiar with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and current clamps.
- Certifications: WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
- Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working at construction sites and electrical rooms.
- Able to lift items up to 20kg.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, good teamwork, and effective communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willing to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency call when required.
- Additional: Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
