Service Engineer

BASIC FUNCTIONS

• Investigate and handle all customers complaints and product failures.
• Providing after-sales technical support and site service responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
• Review and assist in processing warranty claims from distributors.
• Standby support and 24/7 emergency call for customer support.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide theinstallation, commissioning and on-site training to support the customersaccording to the scope of the project.

2. Provides after salestechnical support, troubleshooting and site service to customers in a timelymanner to ensure that the product is operational.

3. Handles wide rangeof diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to provide support todepartments in terms of service and training.

4. Ensures alltechnical and training documents are up-to-date and organized.

5. Provides specifictraining to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets,ensuring optimum service level at all distributors.

6. Maintain closeworking relationship with our key customers to ensure the follow through untilthe issue is resolved.

7. Provides technicalassistance on factory test of special projects.

8. Investigates rootcauses of failures and recommend solution.

9. To deal withcustomer on the warranty issues from technical aspect.

10. Performs any other service and training duties as and when assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma/degree inMechanical/ Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience

2. This positionrequires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and South East AsiaRegion

3. A team player withstrong problem-solving skills and task oriented

4. Possess strongcustomer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products

5. Prior mechanicalexperience with engines (MHI, MTU, John Deere, Volvo) will be advantageous

WORKING HOURS / LOCATION

• 5-day work week
• 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Located in Jurong East

Salary is commensurable to educational qualifications and workingexperience of the candidates.
