1. Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled or unscheduled repairs on heavy machinery including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, with minimum supervision.
2. Use specialized diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify the root cause of equipment failures.
3. Keep supervisor or manager updated on unexpected job delays and additional problems
4. encountered.
5. Communicate with clients to understand their equipment problems, explain the repair process, and provide updates.
6. Prepare any necessary warranty claims accurately and timely, ensure all warranty parts are properly tagged.
7. Accurately complete service reports, timesheets, and other required paperwork.
8. Maintain service database, status log for service work in process.
9. Liaise with Parts department to order necessary components for repair and service jobs with accurate information and in a timely manner.
10. May required to assist in ordering parts when necessary.
11. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when on job sites, the use of PPE and following proper work procedures.
12. Report job related injuries & work safety breaches.
13. Report lost, damaged or missing equipment & tooling.
14. Make recommendation for required new or replacement tooling & workshop sundries when
15. necessary.
16. Ensure the company service vehicles & equipment are properly maintained.
17. Provide technical support & advice to unit sales projects.
Liaise with factory for technical support to jointly resolve technical issues or matters.
