SERVICE ENGINEER (Marine Fire Fighting / LSA-FFA Technician)
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair marine life-saving and fire-fighting equipment in compliance with SOLAS, class rules, and manufacturer requirements.
- Service fire extinguishers, fire hoses, gas detection systems, CO systems, dry chemical systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify technical faults efficiently.
- Perform annual inspection, maintenance, and certification of LSA/FFA equipment.
- Prepare service reports, certificates, and required documentation.
- Carry out on-site work onboard vessels and at shipyards (West Coast Pier / Marina South Pier).
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in marine/shipping industry (LSA/FFA or marine firefighting role).
- Good knowledge of SOLAS and class regulations.
- Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong safety awareness.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to work overtime.
