Service Engineer-Marine Electrical

About the team

Provide onboard technical support for installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of ZF control systems (Krimpen and Arco) used in marine applications. Ensure high-quality workmanship, compliance with specifications, and customer satisfaction.

What you can look forward to as Service Engineer:

• Install, calibrate, and repair PLCs, electric drive systems, and ZF control systems.
• Supervise wiring and shipyard works to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with shipowners, consultants, and shipyards on project progress and issues.
• Support Service Manager with technical assistance and documentation.
• Train and mentor junior engineers to build technical capability.
• Complete service reports promptly and ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements.
• Manage subcontractors, costs, and schedules efficiently.
• Travel locally or overseas for vessel or shipyard assignments as required.

Your profile as Service Engineer:

• Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in marine controls or electrical systems preferred.
• Independent, resourceful, and detail-oriented problem solver.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel locally and regionally; physically fit for shipboard work.
• Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
