Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer
- Salary: $3200 - $3800
- Location: Nearest MRT Lentor Singapore 787542 [ Report to office but might need to travel to site]
- Working hours: Monday - Friday | 8.30am - 6.15pm
Summary:
- We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Service Engineer to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our specialized equipment on-site, ensuring high standards of installation, preventative maintenance, and rapid repair services.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Technical Execution: Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment at client sites (including healthcare, research, and industrial facilities).
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical or electrical faults and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
- Independent Field Work: Manage a daily service schedule, arriving promptly at sites and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Compliance & Safety:Ensure all work is performed in accordance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations and site-specific protocols.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
- 2-3 years of experience in on-site equipment servicing or facility maintenance
- Prefer to have class 3 driving license
Proven experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Mechanical: Assembly, moving parts, and structural integrity
- Electrical: Control panels, wiring, and circuit diagnostics
- Plumbing, Brazing & Welding: Piping, valve systems, and joining techniques
- HVAC / Air-Con: Refrigeration cycles, compressors, and cooling systems
