Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Engineer with a proven track record in delivering repair and calibration services for Mechanical Optics & Surveying Equipment, contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on Mechanical Optics & Surveying Equipment such as prismatic compass, telescope, binoculars, periscope, and boresight scopes to ensure optimal functionality
- Independently manage and deliver completed service jobs within agreed timelines to meet customer service level agreements (SLA)
- Execute laboratory support functions efficiently and in an organized manner to maintain operational workflow
- Participate actively in external and internal audits coordinated by the System Assurance team to uphold quality standards
- Complete all assigned work within budgeted timelines and target dates while maintaining accurate control and reporting of work in progress
- Adapt to and implement new and improved processes to support the growth and innovation of the service business
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless end-to-end service processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience in the related field
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in technology and IT tools, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Enterprise Systems such as SAP
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Highly adaptable with strong multi-tasking skills
