Service Engineer (Food Processing)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of food processing and packaging equipment.

• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical components.

• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and modifications as required.

• Provide on-site technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.

• Diagnose equipment issues and propose appropriate repair solutions.

• Document service activities, including reports, checklists, and customer feedback.

• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for spare parts and technical information.

• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and operational protocols at customer sites.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.

• 1 to 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in servicing industrial, food processing, or packaging equipment (fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may be considered).

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Willingness to travel for site visits, installations, and servicing work.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• MUST posses a valid Class 3 Singapore driving license.
