About the Role
Delton Marine seeks a hands-on and reliable Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and service equipment for our operations team. This role combines field servicing, assembly work, and technical problem-solving in a dynamic environment, ensuring equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform equipment servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct pump repairs, including disassembly, fault diagnosis, and reassembly.
- Carry out assembly work, installations, and repairs as required for operational projects.
- Diagnose faults, test systems, and document service reports for after-sales support.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to coordinate service schedules and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain service records accurately.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in similar roles within equipment service or maintenance industries, including pump repair experience.
- Preferred valid driving license (Class 3 or higher).
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong hands-on technical skills.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities and a safety-focused mindset.
