Service Engineer (Electrical)

My client is an established genset contractor, whose clients are data centres.

5.5 days week

SERVICE ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL

Perform troubleshooting, planning, repair works, maintenance and complete overhauling of diesel generator on -site/workshop.

. Perform load test and start-up of generator sets

. Prepare service/technical report / Prepare FAT reports.

. Perform commissioning for diesel generator

. Maintain testing equipment's calibration records.

. Prepare parts requirement in accordance to repair and maintenance

. Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment

. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

. Perform other ad hoc jobs as required by reporting Manager

. Able to work independently and maintain good working relationship with Clients.

. Provide technical solutions working with vendors and colleagues / Supervise and direct technicians onsite

. Able to handle situations in dealing with customers

Qualification and Skills

. Diploma / Higher NITEC in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent

. At least 2 years of working experience on Diesel Generators with some electrical knowledge.

. Familiar with Engines and Gen-set operating principles

. Possess knowledge in electronic governor control / engine controller setting

. Proficient with the use business PC or laptop, well familiar with Microsoft Office applications (such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams)
