Job Description

  • Reporting to the Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, troubleshooting, commissioning and testing electrical automation systems.
  • Onboard vessel electrical system of LV/HV main switchboard and emergency switchboard power management system service.
  • ACB VCB and VCS maintenance, calibration and operation function service.
  • Generator service, repair and maintenance service.
  • Boiler, Incinerator, Thruster, motor control station and others electrical automation system onboard.
  • Experience with Ballast Water management system (BWMS) will be an added advantage.
  • Attend to emergency repairs.
  • Assist in other duties as directed.

Responsibilities:

. Analyse equipment failures to determine the cause and recommend/take corrective actions

. To complete all assigned jobs are completed timely and meet customers specifications.

. Attend and carry out rectification works at the site

. Carry out standby duties as per roster for urgent service requests outside office hour

. Provide customers with continuous technical and operational program support

Requirements:

. Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

. A good team player, independent, and able to work under pressure

. Positive attitude, coupled with the ability to take initiatives

. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

. Willingness to travel overseas for an assignment as required
