Service Engineer Critical Power / UPS / East

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, maintenance and technical support for UPS and critical power systems.
• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and carry out repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Lead and coordinate site activities with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Guide and support technicians and junior engineers during assigned jobs.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings before site activities.
• Provide on-site and remote technical advice to customers.
• Prepare service reports, technical findings and recommendations.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for assigned jobs.
• Monitor maintenance activities, including batteries and other critical equipment.
• Follow up on outstanding technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Support planned maintenance, ad-hoc service works and equipment overhauls.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related Engineering.
• Experience in UPS, power systems, critical power or electrical equipment.
• Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and lead site activities when required.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and support emergency service when required.
