SERVICE ENGINEER - CHILLER / HVAC

JobAlly is recruiting on behalf of our client, a specialist in chiller and air-conditioning solutions, for an experienced Service Engineer with strong hands-on chiller expertise.

The Opportunity

If you are experienced in chiller troubleshooting, servicing, overhaul and maintenance, this is an opportunity to take ownership of technical service work while supporting customers and leading technicians on-site.

Key Responsibilities

. Perform hands-on chiller servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul

. Carry out annual shutdown, testing and commissioning works

. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend effective solutions

. Attend customer enquiries and on-site technical service calls

. Lead and guide technicians and subcontractors during service works

. Coordinate with customers and vendors on servicing, parts and technical requirements

. Prepare service reports, safety documentation and maintenance records

. Provide technical solutions to minimise equipment downtime and improve reliability

What We're Looking For

. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

. Minimum 5 years of hands-on Chiller / HVAC / ACMV experience

. Strong experience in chiller maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul and annual shutdown works

. Able to diagnose both mechanical and electrical faults

. Hands-on, resourceful and able to work independently

. Comfortable working in site-based / construction environments

. Able to perform standby duties after working hours, weekends or public holidays when required

. Class 3 Driving Licence is an advantage

Extra Information

. Permanent position

. Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

. Performance bonus

. Additional payment for standby duties where applicable

Ideal Background

Candidates from chiller service & maintenance companies or HVAC / ACMV service providers are highly preferred.

IMPORTANT: Hands-on chiller service experience is essential. Candidates whose experience is mainly in project engineering without hands-on chiller servicing will not be suitable.
