Job Description

Company Overview:

We are a fast-growing Audio Visual (AV) company, specialising in Unified Communications (UC) and Information Technology (IT) solutions, laser-focused to catering to Multinational Corporation, Fortune 1000 companies and major government sectors and agencies.

Job overview:

The candidate will work in an On and Off-site arrangement with responsibilities to support multiple sites beyond Singapore, and work closely with our regional colleagues and travel to Singapore HQ and/or regional branch offices only whenever necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in audio visual system diagnostics and a good grasp in unified communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide best-in-class post-sale maintenance experience to clientele.
  • Plan, schedule and execute preventive maintenance with customers to ensure system reliability and take ownership in executing corrective actions upon client approval.
  • Perform remote/onsite diagnostics to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve existing or potential faults within AV and VC integrated systems.
  • Provide post-installation support such as remote/onsite technical assistance, firmware updates, and/or configuration changes.
  • Coordinate with end users, product suppliers and vendors to resolve technical product issues promptly and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). E.g. RMA process.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and well-documented service reports following every maintenance or troubleshooting engagement.
  • Identify, indicate, and assist in changes accrued to schematics, BOM list, and other relevant materials discovered during site evaluations.
  • Analyse and document technical issues, resolutions, and improvement recommendations, ensuring traceability and knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate the severity and risk of technical challenges, escalating to manufacturers or principals when issues exceed internal capacity.
  • Support post-commissioning activities such as end-user trainings, material development, documenting accurately on handover and taking over of functioning systems.
  • Any other tasks assigned by HOD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NITEC, Diploma or Degree in AV / Electronics / IT / Electrical or related discipline.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of experience in operation, engineering and/or installation/maintenance of AV systems.
  • Preferably to have general knowledge of AV products (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Polycom, Cisco Telepresence, Logitech, Biamp and QSYS)
  • Preferably to have general knowledge of AV & IT technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, Networking, Dante, AVB, SDVOE, H.264, H.323, MPEG, EDID, HDCP)
  • Proficient in spoken and written English. Able to speak Mandarin, or other languages is a plus.
  • Trainings would be provided.
  • Working location: Ubi, East!
