Service Engineer cum Technician (ELV Security system)
Job Summary
Join our team as a Service Engineer cum Technician focusing on maintaining and servicing ELV security systems. Manage daily service activities using software and support installation and commissioning during peak project periods.
Responsibilities
- Attend preventive maintenance and breakdown service calls to ensure ELV security systems operate reliably
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults in ELV security systems to restore full functionality
- Manage daily service schedules and update service reports accurately using company maintenance software
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of service works
- Perform testing, commissioning, and minor installation of ELV security systems as required
- Support the project team with installation and commissioning tasks during busy project periods
- Follow company safety standards to complete all work safely and effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related disciplines
- Experience with ELV/security systems is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Car Park Systems, PA Systems, or Alarm Systems is a plus
- Positive attitude with strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Fresh graduates are welcome training will be provided
