Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the service engineering team in their daily operations. Monitor performance, ensuring adherence to company procedures and service standards while promoting a safety-oriented work culture. Oversee troubleshooting, repair, commissioning, maintenance, and testing of marine navigation and communication systems. Manage schedules, quotations, logistics, and project timelines while serving as the primary contact for customers on service-related matters. Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and proper documentation for all service activities. Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers regarding technical support, spare parts, and warranty issues. Identify service opportunities to support business development and maintain strong customer relationships. Participate in internal audits and process improvements to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience with marine navigation and communication systems. At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred. Strong knowledge of marine navigation and communication equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance experience onboard vessels. Proficient in reading technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Class 3 driving license is advantageous.
