Service Delivery Manager - Data Engineering & BI

Job Description:

This role focuses on delivering cloud-native, data-driven solutions. The manager will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, maintaining advanced business intelligence dashboards, and applying rigorous data-governance controls. A key focus is transforming fragmented, unstructured client's proprietary data sets into board-level insights and new revenue streams.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and lead the end-to-end delivery of technical data solutions across various departments .
• Automate complex ETL processes and architect scalable data-lake pipelines to streamline data ingestion and business operations.
• Design and maintain sophisticated BI dashboards to feed strategic insights to consulting and business divisions.
• Manage and mentor agile, cross-functional technical squads of multiple members, including data engineering and BI specialists.

Requirements:

• 10 - 15 years of experience delivering cloud-native, data-driven solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Deep technical expertise in Data Engineering technologies, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory.
• Advanced proficiency in BI and visualization platforms, particularly Power BI and Tableau.
• Proven track record of managing small, highly effective technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Good communication skill in English and Japanese (Business level/ JLPT N1) to liaise with Japanese speaking clients and stakeholders to liaise effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
