Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Service Crew, who will be the friendly face of the establishment, providing good customer service while ensuring smooth operations, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and create a positive dining experience
- Answer customer questions about the menu
- Make recommendation when needed
- Promote daily specials
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, using the POS ordering software
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Address customer concerns or complaints politely and efficiently
- Ensure good customer service
- Check customers IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages (if needed)
Food and Beverage Handling
- Serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure proper food handling practices
Transactions
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Make change (if needed) and provide receipts
General Operations
- Set up and clear tables
- Maintain a clean and tidy dining area
- Maintain cleanliness of the washroom
- Weekly wine inventory check
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management
Other duties
- Create a positive customer experience
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Practice hygiene
- Maintain a positive and passionate attitude
- Able to work independently
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of similar working experience, preferably in a western restaurant
- Good customer service
- Good communication skill
- Serving wine skill will be preferred
