The NPC is key community touchpoints where Police services are extended to members of the public. As a Service Ambassador, you play a vital role in the delivery of professional, courteous, and efficient service to all visitors, while upholding the values of integrity, respect, and care.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.
What You Will Be Working On
Key Responsibilities
1. Visitor Management
- Welcome and greet visitors professionally
- Listen attentively to understand visitors needs
- Guide visitors to appropriate services or departments
- Manage visitor flow and queues effectively
2. Digital Service Support - Assist visitors with self-service kiosks
- Guide visitors through online reporting processes
- Provide step-by-step assistance for digital services
3. Service Advisory - Provide accurate information about police services and procedures
- Answer general enquiries professionally
- Escalate complex cases to supervisors
- Handle basic complaints with tact and professionalism
4. Data Protection - Maintain strict confidentiality of information
- Handle personal data in accordance with data protection guidelines
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
- Administrative Support
- Assist with general administrative duties
- Support other counter operations as required
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of service areas
Positions Available
We are hiring Service Ambassador to support frontline operations at our Neighbourhood Police Centres (NPCs):
The Service Ambassador will be rotated during workdays at Choa Chu Kang NPC, Jurong West NPC and Nanyang NPC.
The Service Ambassador will work from 10am to 11.30pm on weekdays and 10am to 4pm on weekends. The work timing of the Service Ambassador may be subjected to change depending on the circumstances. The Service Ambassador will have an off day after every 2 days of work, in a 3-day shift.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for dynamic and service-minded individuals to be part of our frontline operations team. You will be trained to manage visitor interactions, support digital services, and provide service advisories. As a valued member of the team, you will also assist with administrative duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong command of English and Mother Tongue languages
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Previous customer service experience would be valued
