Server Delivery Specialist (SDS)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Server Delivery Support (SDS) technician to assist in day-to-day data centre operations and server delivery

Overview

Will support day-to-day operations and coordination of server delivery related task focusing on:

• Server delivery transparency, interact with delivery platform and make sure delivery related data is always accurate and up to date. SDS will also act asthe1st tier handler if there is system exception requires human intervention.
• Event response of power over subscribe. In case of any rack level, row level power consumption exceed the safety threshold and requires human intervention, SDS will be responsible to coordinate with business owners and arrange the server relocation within the designed time window.
• Server relocation, SDS is responsible of coordinate the execution phase of server relocation, prepare the approval docs, communicate with stakeholders to facilitate the process and arrange the actual delivery with vendor.
• Longtail server delivery tracking and analysis. Responsible to track and analyse the status of long tail servers and mark the servers for long term improvement and retrospective.
• Accessories management. Manage the stock of each type of accessories like AOC,CAT5, Rack, RPDU, Side panel. Monitoring the safety stock of the accessories and following up on placing the order, order delivery status.
• Data validation, cleaning and correction. Information about data centre, racks, devices, delivery behaviours, events, etc.
• IPIO operation for Offsite.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining delivery data accuracy, supporting server deployment processes, handling first-level system exceptions, and coordinating basic operational activities across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
• Basic English reading and writing skills
• Mandarin Chinese required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., filtering, basic formulas, data organization)
• Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility

Core Competencies

• Good execution skills and ability to follow SOPs
• Basic communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

• Experience in data center operations or IT support
• Familiarity with asset or inventory management processes
• Basic understanding of servers, networking, or power systems
