SEO Specialist

Role Overview

As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for improving search visibility, driving website traffic, and optimizing all digital assets for ToYm and its sister companies. You will analyze data, enhance website structure, and implement SEO best practices to ensure consistent top-ranking performance across search engines.

This role requires both technical SEO knowledge and creative insight to grow our online audience and digital reach in Malaysia and regional markets.

Job Description

1. Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content strategy.
2. Optimize website content, structure, and metadata for better search rankings.
3. Improve technical SEO performance, including site speed, crawlability, indexing, and mobile optimization.
4. Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and related tools.
5. Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure all copy meets SEO and brand standards.
6. Build and manage backlinks, local SEO listings, and domain authority growth.
7. Conduct SEO audits and recommend continuous improvements across all company websites.
8. Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
9. Ensure all sister company websites (ToYm, SunStrong Entertainment, Flowers.com.my, etc.) are optimized, up-to-date, and aligned with the company's digital marketing goals.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years hands-on SEO or digital marketing experience.
2. Proficient with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
3. Knowledge of WordPress or CMS platforms.
4. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
5. Able to turn data into actionable marketing insights.
6. Able to multitask and provide support for any tasks or projects assigned by the company as needed.
