Job Description

We are seeking a deeply experienced and passionate Senior / Yoga Instructor to join our elite wellness team. This role is designed for a dedicated practitioner who views yoga as both a physical discipline and a lifelong philosophy. As a lead teacher, you will be responsible for delivering world-class instruction while ensuring the highest standards of student safety and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Expert Instruction: Lead a variety of classes across multiple levels, strictly adhering to scheduled descriptions while infusing your unique teaching style.
Safety & Alignment: Provide precise, verbal, and physical alignment cues. You must be adept at identifying risk factors and offering modifications to ensure a safe environment for practitioners of all abilities.
Thoughtful Sequencing: Develop intelligent, safe, and creative sequences that promote progressive growth and prevent repetitive strain.
Philosophical Integration: Move beyond the physical by weaving authentic yogic principles and philosophy into your classes to provide a holistic experience.
Community Presence: Maintain a professional and welcoming presence during retail hours, fostering long-term relationships with members.

Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of active teaching experience is mandatory.
Certification: Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500 preferred) or equivalent advanced certification.
Knowledge: Profound understanding of functional anatomy, contraindications, and the Eight Limbs of Yoga.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to command a room with calm authority.
Flexibility: Ability to work a retail-based schedule, including weekends, to meet the needs of our community.
