Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance, conditions and practices of the company & its projects
• Carry out WSH compliance inspections on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
• Clarify WSH programme requirements to employees of other departments
• Coach team members on how to conduct routine checks on work activities
• Coordinate WSH programme initiatives and Improvement Programmes.
• Develop, Implement & Reviews Safety Briefings (such as Toolbox meetings & etc)
• Evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
• Identify areas for improvement and keeping up to date on the Company's EHS Safety System.
• Implement Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) and communicate it to all it's concerning stakeholders
• Implement Workplace Safety and Health Management Systems (WSHMS) and Risk Management (RM) plans within scope of our work
• Maintain and Backup all WSHMS related documentation
• Propose corrective and preventive measures to address root cause of incident
• Review investigation Findings and to identify the root causes of incidents and accidents, including its preventive actions
• Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and procedure implementation
• Has experience in digital adoption in terms of Project Safety Requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in WSHO position with relevant work in Construction Engineering / Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum holds a WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH
• Experience with PUB-DTSS or LTA Rail projects are preferred
• Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT & etc)
• Comfortable to take up the role of ECO duties
• Knowledge and experience in ISO / KPI Audits
• Must be a Registered WSHO with MOM
• Able to travel Site to Site Meetings
• Certificate in BCSS Tunnelling Course / Confined Space in Operation Course / Fire Safety Manager would be a plus
