About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President with strong commercial acumen and deep hands-on client leadership experience to own and lead on of Zeno's most significant global technology clients. This is a career-defining role for a senior operator who thrives on stewardship of a single high-value, high-visibility client relationship. The role is based in Singapore (or for candidates willing to relocate).

Reporting directly to Zeno Singapore's Managing Director, you will serve as strategic lead and primary point of accountability for our partnership with this marquee global brand. You will oversee all workstreams, market teams (currently SG, HK, India & ANZ), and disciplines tied to this client, ensuring excellence across earned, corporate reputation, brand narrative, employee engagement, executive thought leadership and product communications.

This is a key client leadership role where your focus will be to elevate the partnership, strengthen the client's communications impact, and drive consistently high-quality delivery from a multi-market, cross-functional team. You will excel at providing clear value-added counsel that helps build strong and trusted relationships with clients and other senior stakeholders, and in the process help to forge a true partnership model between your team and client.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the relationship as the senior-most day-to-day partner, building trust with client and regional senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the hub integrated team, ensuring alignment, quality, and cohesion across all programs.
  • Oversee both long-term retainer work and large-scale integrated campaigns, ensuring delivery that is strategically strong, creatively compelling, and commercially sound.
  • Provide insightful, proactive counsel that helps the client anticipate shifts in market dynamics,stakeholder expectations, and the broader business environment.
  • Translate complex business issues into future-ready communication strategies and integrated approachesthat drive measurable impact.
  • Act as a people leader and culture carrier, inspiring your team to deliver their best work, supportinggrowth and development, and instilling a high-performance mindset.
  • Maintain strong operational discipline, ensuring efficient workflows, sound budgeting, and adherence tocommercial targets.
  • Consistently identify the business problem(s) that the client is looking to solve and ensure they are understood by the team.
  • Holds self and team accountable for performance, compliance, and ethical business conduct in accordance with firm values.
  • Participates in client relationship mapping and development across a portfolio.
  • Actively listens - asks smart questions, listens to what's not being said, is willing to have honest, ongoing dialogue about what's working and what isn't.
  • Identifies and acknowledges problems, offers solutions, and course-corrects as needed.
  • Helps measure what matters - tracks progress and reports results based on agreed-upon metrics and achievement of business and communications goals.
  • Brings in new capabilities against client needs.
  • Helps ensure clients benefit from Zeno IP, insights, best practices, and methodologies.

What is required of you:

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in Communications, preferably at top-tier agencies or client roles.
  • Mandarin a plus, but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
  • Passion for the societal potential of technology and preferably some experience of working within the Asia tech sector (though this is not a prerequisite if the job described excites you).
  • Understanding global sector trends, with a focus on the Asia region and the ability to draw insights from this understanding to counsel clients.
  • Stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends and demonstrates an understanding of how they integrate into communications programs.
  • Ideally, experience in earned media environments, with the ability to refine and coach excellence in strategy
  • Experience working in an integrated environment, including virtual stakeholder events, content, production and inspiring integrated teams to collaborate effectively to unearth the best ideas and executions as one team.
  • Superior writing and verbal communications skills, specifically with the purpose of writing to persuade demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others work.
  • Strong communication - active listening and ability to persuade and negotiate.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and providing counsel to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to manage competing interests, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Good judgment and willingness to take risks and forward-thinking.
  • Learn and build from experience.
