Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are representing a global leader in the Identity Verification (IDV) and AML compliance space. After experiencing explosive growth in Europe and North America, the company is now aggressively expanding its footprint across the APAC and MEA regions.

As the SVP of Sales, APAC, you will be the primary architect of the regional go-to-market strategy. You will lead a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Managers to capture market share in high-growth sectors including Fintech, Banking, Crypto, and Gaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the APAC and Middle East markets, focusing on both high-velocity SaaS sales and complex enterprise deals.
  • Revenue Growth: Take full P&L responsibility for the region, ensuring consistent delivery against ambitious Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and scale a world-class regional sales organization. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and nurture key channel partnerships and alliances that can accelerate market entry and localized credibility.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as the voice of the region, providing feedback to Product and Marketing teams regarding local regulatory requirements and competitor landscapes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales leadership, with a significant portion dedicated to the Identity Verification, KYC/AML, or Cybersecurity sectors.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven track record of scaling revenue across APAC and/or the Middle East. Deep understanding of the cultural and regulatory nuances of markets like Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.
  • Network: An established rolodex of C-level contacts within Tier 1 banks, fintech unicorns, and digital marketplaces.
  • Execution: A player-coach mentality, comfortable navigating board-level strategy one hour and jumping into a high-stakes closing call the next.
  • Communication: Exceptional command of English; additional regional languages (e.g., Mandarin or Arabic) are a significant advantage.
