Role Summary:The Senior Vice President of Finance is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing the organization's financial strategy, risk management, capital planning, and overall financial health. This role provides strategic direction, leads financial operations, and partners with senior leadership to drive long-term growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support corporate goals and long-term business growth
- Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive team
- Manage capital structure, financing activities, and relationships with banks, investors, and stakeholders
- Oversee financial risk management, compliance, and governance
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and drive data-driven decision-making
- Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A activities, and large-scale financial projects
- Implement financial systems, controls, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred)
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred
- 1015+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial modeling, and strategic planning
- Proven experience in managing budgets, financial reporting, and capital markets
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make high-impact decisions
