Headquartered in Los Angeles, California with over 100 offices and more than 80 correspondent offices, our commitment to providing relentless, customized service is the foundation of our consistent growth.

Role Overview

In this client-facing Asia High-Touch Sales Trading role, you will own day-to-day coverage of a core set of institutional accounts across Asia cash equities. Working closely with Sales, Research, and Trading partners, you will originate and execute agency-style cash equity flow, drive adoption of execution solutions (including algorithms), and proactively identify franchise growth opportunities.

Please Note: This role will be based in Singapore, and we are seeking local candidates only at this time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage cash equity orders across Asia markets for buy-side clients, applying appropriate execution tactics and managing trading outcomes versus client objectives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Trading, Research, Operations, Compliance, and Technology) to coordinate coverage, improve service levels, and grow trading engagement
  • Translate real-time market color, liquidity conditions, and macro/regulatory developments into actionable guidance for clients
  • Promote and integrate electronic execution tools and algorithmic strategies; advise clients on venue selection, order types, and workflow enhancements
  • Maintain a strong awareness of local market structure, trading restrictions, and relevant regulatory changes, ensuring activity remains compliant and aligned with best practice
  • Develop and distribute timely sales-trading commentary and content that supports the broader franchise offering
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, including cross-selling of broader products and services where appropriate
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of institutional sales trading experience with direct responsibility for Asia equities coverage
  • Proven track record executing cash equities and vanilla equity products, with at least 5 years of hands-on coverage in the asset manager/hedge fund client segment
  • Demonstrated, established relationships with global and regional asset managers and an ability to convert relationships into sustained flow
  • Strong understanding of Asia market structure, liquidity dynamics, and execution methodologies, including algorithmic trading and portfolio/low-touch workflows
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of OMS/EMS environments and trading connectivity standards (e.g., FIX) and related trading protocols
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable operating in a collaborative, high-accountability environment
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills; able to perform effectively under tight deadlines and during volatile market conditions
  • Active Series 7, 63, 57 Required
