Full time position available for a senior veterinary technician. We are a GP clinic with a strong focus in palliative and gerietric care. Our patients are commonly above the age of 14 and require fragile handling and close monitoring.
Duties
- supportive role to the consulting and surgical vets
- work well in a team with other senior technicians
- train and direct junior technicians
- able to perform and assist in high level technical procedures confidently
- responsible for critical, geriatric hospital patients
- work overnight shifts and public holiday shifts as rostered
Ideal Candidates Should Have
- at least 5 years of small animal clinical experience in an hospital or critical care facility
- possess a veterinary degree
- fear free or gentle handling skills
