Job Description

Note: This role is based in United Arab Emirates. Relocation will be required for the successful candidate.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Valuer to support and deliver high-quality commercial valuation assignments. The successful candidate will be RICS qualified, technically strong, and capable of managing valuation instructions independently while contributing to market research, client relationships, and the ongoing development of the valuation service line.

Responsibilities

Valuation & Technical Delivery

  • Undertake commercial valuation instructions accurately, efficiently, and in line with RICS standards.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured valuation reports with limited supervision.
  • Ensure all valuations are supported by robust market evidence, research, and analysis.
  • Maintain orderly and accurate file records, including digital records, in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Fully understand and utilise office technology, valuation software, and internal systems.
  • Conduct site inspections, analyse market data, and apply appropriate valuation methodologies.

Market Knowledge & Research

  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of GCC property markets, including relevant legislation, valuation standards, and best practice.
  • Keep informed about market trends, property press, and wider economic factors affecting valuations.
  • Liaise with the research and strategic consultancy teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Client Interaction

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries.
  • Support the development of client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
  • Attend industry events and meetings to represent the department and promote the firm.
  • Build trust, confidentiality, and goodwill with existing and prospective clients.

InternalCollaboration

  • Work effectively with colleagues across departments to gather data and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Support junior team members through guidance, quality checking, and informal mentoring.
  • Assist with managing workloads on valuation projects as required.

Quality, Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Adhere to all deadlines and project requirements.
  • Follow Knight Frank Best Practice procedures consistently.
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Comply with RICS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
  • Uphold internal policies relating to document storage, filing, and operational standards.

Additional Duties

  • Support team leads with research tasks or components of complex valuation instructions.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and departmental development.
  • Undertake any additional tasks reasonably required to support the valuation team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate or a RICS-accredited discipline.
  • Minimum 35 years commercial valuation experience.
  • MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer required.
  • A valid driving license is required due to site inspection
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
  • Excellent report writing skills and clear communication style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Understanding of regional business culture and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong working knowledge of Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, and Estate Master.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written); additional languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for inspections and client meetings.
