What will your role be:
- Work with junior designers on the team to monitor and ensure development of consistent user experience across all areas of the product
- Ability to apply the design thinking process in day-to-day design operations.
- Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve existing products.
- Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature
- Create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and Figma prototypes to communicate your design to the rest of the team
- Work with our in-house User Research department to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations
- Utilize existing design system components to create UI deliverables.
- Proactively navigate and make decisions in ambiguous situations, demonstrating adaptability and creativity.
- Exhibit excellent cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-continent teams.
- Manage time effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills in both synchronous and asynchronous collaboration settings.
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Figma design system when required.
- Possess a deep understanding of mobile accessibility standards (experience in this area is a plus).
What an ideal candidate means to us:
- 5+ years of professional UI design experience, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end design for mobile products (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in Auto Layout, component variants, and design system management, with practical skills in implementing Lottie/After Effects animations.
- In-depth understanding of mobile design principles: Material Design/iOS HIG guidelines, and solutions for balancing performance and visual quality.
- Basic strategic UX thinking: ability to assist in user persona analysis, information architecture optimization, and usability test reporting.
