About the Role
We are looking for a Senior User Researcher to uncover user needs, market shifts, competitive landscapes, and emerging business opportunities across global regions. You will lead end-to-end research, translate complex findings into clear business implications, and partner with product, business, and design teams to support decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a strong researcher with business acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience using AI tools to improve research quality and insight delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research projects, including scoping, planning, execution, analysis, synthesis, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Conduct user research, industry scanning, competitor analysis, desktop research, expert interviews, and other exploratory methods to identify user needs, market shifts, and business opportunities
- Define, track, and analyse user experience metrics across web, app, and AI-enabled applications, combining behavioural data, user feedback, and research findings to monitor experience quality and identify opportunities for product improvement
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights, user needs, opportunity areas, design principles, product implications, and actionable recommendations
- Produce concise, decision-ready research reports and insight narratives for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Apply AI tools across the research workflow to improve planning, analysis, synthesis, visualisation, reporting, and insight management
- Prototype or create lightweight AI-enabled workflows, tools, agents, or applications that enhance research efficiency, quality, and knowledge sharing
- Manage external research vendors and ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in user research, market research, business analytics, or related fields
- Strong experience leading end-to-end research independently across qualitative and quantitative methods
- Strong analytical thinking, systems thinking, and ability to frame ambiguous business or product problems
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to support research
- Able to manage uncertainty, ambiguity, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with B2B products is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred
