What you'll do
Payments & Settlement
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing, settlement, and reconciliation of payments.
- Act as the primary liaison with banking partners to resolve day-to-day operational matters.
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Develop short-term cash flow forecasts and oversee daily cash management within the Group's liquidity framework.
- Facilitate the management of intercompany loans, settlements, and accrued interest.
Bank Account Management
- Drive the end-to-end onboarding of new bank accounts, including the administration of online banking platforms and maintenance of authorized signatories.
- Uphold bank mandates and proactively monitor covenant compliance.
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of the bank account opening process, including the preparation, compilation, and submission of required documentation such as KYC/KYB packages and corporate credentials.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure all banking onboarding requirements are fulfilled accurately and within established timelines.
- Serve as the key point of contact for banking institutions throughout the account opening and onboarding journey.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all bank account applications, approvals, and related correspondence.
- Support the periodic review, renewal, and optimization of banking relationships and associated documentation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 25 years of hands-on experience in treasury or liquidity management within a corporate or financial institution.
- Proven track record in managing bank account opening processes across multiple jurisdictions is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in English & Mandarin to communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders
- Job Location: Fully onsite, open for local / PR only
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of international fiat payment rails and local payment schemes (e.g., Faster Payments, SEPA).
- Working knowledge of wire transfers, payment processing, and cash and liquidity management principles.
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS); familiarity with EMI or payment products is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Crypto and Blockchain ecosystems is an added advantage.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements
- Proven ability to perform and adapt in a fast-paced, multicultural fintech environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Flexibility to occasionally work within the UTC+23 timezone to facilitate banking transactions.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple bank onboarding initiatives concurrently.
