Senior Treasury & Financial Analyst (Shipping)
We are working with a well established global shipping organisation to hire a finance professional in a regional role covering financial analysis, treasury activities, and ESG reporting. This is a hands on opportunity within a lean team environment, offering exposure across commercial finance, cash management, sustainability reporting, and global stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Activities
- Support day to day treasury operations across multiple entities and bank accounts
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity projections
- Coordinate with banking partners on account administration, KYC documentation, and treasury related matters
- Monitor financing arrangements, loan schedules, and treasury reporting activities
- Support investment tracking including fixed deposits and financial instruments
- Assist with treasury process improvements and reporting standardisation initiatives
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Support financial analysis activities including cash flow analysis, OPEX monitoring, and variance analysis
- Prepare regular management reports and support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with financial modelling, reporting packs, and business performance analysis
- Support investment and portfolio overview reporting across various business units
- Liaise with regional stakeholders across Singapore, Manila, and Europe on reporting requirements
- Support tax and compliance related matters including documentation and reporting submissions where required
ESG
- Support ESG and sustainability reporting activities across the organisation
- Gather, consolidate, and analyse ESG related operational and emissions data
- Assist with carbon accounting calculations and reporting processes
- Support preparation of ESG presentations, reports, and internal analysis
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely ESG data collection and reporting accuracy
- Keep up to date with sustainability reporting developments and industry practices
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
- Prior experience in finance, treasury, audit, or financial analysis roles
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a hands on and operational environment
- Exposure to treasury operations, cash flow reporting, or ESG reporting would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with regional stakeholders
- Shipping, maritime, or asset heavy industry exposure would be a plus
