Senior Training Specialist / Assistant Training Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Training Specialist / Assistant Training Manager to design, deliver, and enhance training programmes that build workforce capability and support organisational excellence.
You will play a key role in shaping learning experiences, improving service standards, and supporting both operational and business growth.
What You'll Do
Training Delivery
- Conduct engaging classroom and on-the-job training sessions
- Train staff on SOPs, company policies, and service standards
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous learning programmes
Learning Design & Development
- Develop training materials, courseware, and structured learning plans
- Create e-learning content, training videos, and digital resources
- Design On-the-Job Training (OJT) frameworks and learning pathways
Training Evaluation & Improvement
- Analyse training feedback and effectiveness
- Identify service gaps using operational metrics
- Recommend and implement improvements to training programmes
Coaching & Mentorship
- Provide coaching and guidance to learners and new hires
- Support employee development through structured mentoring
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners on training needs
- Support training-related projects and initiatives
- Promote internal services and training programmes where relevant
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain training records, documentation, and resource libraries
- Track training outcomes and prepare reports for management
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- ACTA / ACLP certified (preferred)
- Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) is a plus
- DDDLP certification (advantage)
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in training delivery (classroom, OJT, e-learning)
- Good understanding of adult learning principles
- Familiarity with Skills Framework / SSG course development is an advantage

- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Confident engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical and able to translate insights into improvements
- Tech-savvy with experience in digital learning tools
