Senior Trade Finance & Treasury Executive - Energy Trading

Our client is a leading global energy trading and shipping company with an integrated presence across Asia, Europe and other international markets. They are looking for a Senior Trade Finance Execitive for Singapore team.

Role

Reporting to the Trade Finance & Treasury Manager, the role is responsible for managing end-to-end trade finance and treasury activities, including Letters of Credit, standby LCs, guarantees and bonds, reviewing commercial contracts for trade finance terms, monitoring credit limits and insurance requirements, processing invoices and cargo financing, liaising with banks and counterparties on trade documentation and payments, maintaining financing records and bank utilisation, supporting FX monitoring, providing credit advice on tenders, and assisting with treasury operations and payment processing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of trade finance and treasury experience within a commodity trading or shipping environment. Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit, UCP 600, ISP98, Incoterms, trade finance instruments and treasury operations is essential. Exposure to Business Objects or Power BI will be advantageous. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with traders, operations, finance teams, banks and external counterparties.
