Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead test execution for end-to-end data migration , ETL , and data transformation processes during SIT.
- Provide support for UAT , Parallel Runs , and Production deployments .
- Validate data accuracy , schema mapping , and consistency across source and target systems.
- Execute performance and regression testing to verify platform scalability and migration stability.
- Build and maintain automation test scripts where applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers , data engineers , and cloud architects , to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Align testing goals with business and project stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates on testing progress, defect reports, and risk assessments.
- Continuously drive improvements in testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in data migration projects .
- Proven expertise in cloud data platforms such as Databricks , BigQuery , Snowflake , Synapse , or Redshift .
- Familiarity with legacy platforms like Hadoop , Teradata , and SAP BW .
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL validation , data reconciliation , and performance benchmarking .
- Proficiency in SQL , Python , and other scripting languages for test automation and data validation.
- Experience with tools like Selenium , PyTest , JMeter , and data quality tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure , GCP ) or testing standards (e.g., ISTQB ).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies , JIRA , Confluence , and CI/CD pipelines .
- Understanding of DataOps practices and modern testing workflows.
