Senior Test Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to support both manual and automated testing activities, with a strong focus on test automation in financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & QA

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks

• Perform end-to-end testing: requirement analysis, test case design, execution, and defect tracking

• Support both manual and automation testing processes

• Ensure quality across all stages of the test lifecycle

Agile Process

• Work in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments

• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, business, operations)

Technical Skills

Automation & Tools

• BDD framework: Cucumber with TestNG

• Selenium WebDriver (UI testing)

• API Testing tools: Postman, REST Assured

• Build tools: Maven

• CI/CD: Jenkins

• Version control: GitHub / Bitbucket

• IDEs: IntelliJ / Eclipse

Programming

• Core Java

Domain Knowledge

• Financial services domain experience

• Knowledge of Equities / Derivatives trading (preferred)

• Experience with financial APIs (FIX, FIXML, REST)

Additional (Good to Have)

• Tools like Tricentis Tosca, VeriFIX

Soft Skills

• Ability to mentor junior testers

• Strong communication (written & verbal)

• Stakeholder management across business and tech teams

• Collaborative team player

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3-5+ years in QA with strong automation exposure

• Experience in financial services testing environments

• Hands-on with modern automation tools and Agile practices
