Monitor tendering platforms (such as Gebiz, SRM, Sesami) for targeted tenders and/ or new opportunities.
Process tender documents, highlight specifications require for tender submission, and request information from other departments (eg, Safety/ Accounts/ Finance/ Project) to do reports.
Attend tender briefing or site show round.
Source for equipment quotations and subcontractors.
Perform take-off quantities.
Review supplier's quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and tender requirements.
Review subcontractor's quotations to ensure the scope for works is fully covered.
Compile quotations and create a summary table/ spreadsheet.
Present costing reports to the management.
Perform technical write-up and prepare preliminary construction programs.
Take lead for any tender clarification questions.
Respond to Client's Tender Validity Extension request.
Prepare tender interview, presentation slides, quotations, and letters.
Meet up/ call suppliers/sub-cons/ main contractors to discuss/ negotiate scopes/ prices and assist to prepare agreements where applicable.
