Work you'll do

Automation provides a basis for taking on a lot of mundane, repetitive tasks and freeing up time for the employees to focus on more meaningful work, which leads to better productivity, greater innovation, and stronger business results. However, it is not enough to continue looking only at the automation of tasks. Businesses are looking to add intelligence to automation technology, where it can start to think like people think and analyze the way people analyze.

As a Senior Manager with SimplifyNext, you would focus on managing the delivery for the next generation of solutions to reshape the future of work at the confluence of automation, artificial intelligence, and low code apps. You would work on the leading automation platforms, integrate them with AI solutions for computer vision and natural language processing, and use analytics to gain insights on both the processes and robots themselves.

The role will involve working closely with the company's technical teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.

You will also be assisting with pre-sales activities while in parallel, looking after the project management, and project delivery functions of customers managed. You will lead a portfolio of customers and for each of the customers in your portfolio, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's base at the customers managed and increase revenue through excellent value delivery for the customers managed.

Your responsibilities would include:

Project Management and Delivery:

• Manage the delivery of projects to ensure they meet the customer's requirements and expectations.
• Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe, budget, and scope.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle for larger projects while guiding junior PMs for smaller projects.
• Work closely with the technical teams to ensure that all project deliverables are completed to a high standard.
• Monitor project progress and report on project status to key stakeholders for projects personally managed while overseeing PMs of smaller projects managed.
• Ensure that all project documentation is completed and maintained.

Team Management:

• Provide coaching, mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to help them achieve their goals.
• Foster a positive team culture and work environment

Pre-Sales & Business Development:

• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise in the various Automation offerings and support during the sales process for newly identified customers.
• Conduct assessments of customer requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and present technical proposals to potential customers.
• Become a subject matter expert in selected new offerings in the market. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding the customer's environment and building and maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers managed by you.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the company's capabilities to potential customers.
• that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on automation, analytics, and AI.
• Strong sales and business development skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong technical knowledge of automation, analytics, and AI technologies and their applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to multi-task and compartmentalise - as an SME delivering projects that typically have 2 - 4 month timelines, this is key to succeeding in this role.
