Senior Technician (PRL)
Salary: $2,200 - $2,800/month
Working Location: 70 Biopolis Street, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30PM

Job Responsibilities
- Check the advance booking schedule for batch-making activities and support daily batch-making operations.
- Conduct, verify and record daily calibration of weighing devices within the Pilot Plant according to established standards and procedures.
- Set up relevant equipment prior to batch production according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Production Records.
- Operate production equipment and add raw materials according to production instructions.
- Receive and verify raw materials, including material code/GCAS, expiry date and quantities, against the Batch Production Record.
- Follow Global Harmonization System (GHS) requirements and appropriate safety precautions when handling raw materials.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and ancillary items as required.
- Carry out basic equipment maintenance and first-level troubleshooting.
- Collect and label finished product samples and perform basic measurements such as pH and rheology.
- Prepare finished products for collection by the Finished Product Warehouse.
- Update and maintain accurate batch-making records.
- Gather and prepare hazardous and general waste generated during batch-making activities for proper disposal.
- Perform regular housekeeping in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all workplace safety requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience in Process Laboratory, Process Manufacturing, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing or a similar environment is preferred.
- Able to work at height using platforms when required.
- Able to handle loads of up to 20kg.
- Comfortable handling hot water/fluids of up to approximately 80°C with appropriate safety precautions.
- Comfortable wearing required PPE.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and GMP requirements.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to operate simple machinery.
- Basic understanding of flowcharts or workflows.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Responsible and safety-conscious, with the ability to work independently when required.
Working Environment
This is a hands-on technical role within a Pilot Plant environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable with equipment operation, manual handling, working at height and handling hot fluids while maintaining strict GMP and workplace safety standards.
