What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical system failures
- Document all maintenance activities and prepare detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with project managers to execute facility upgrades and improvements
- Train and mentor junior technicians, embodying our belief that we're stronger when we work together
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes across all serviced properties
Required Qualifications:
- NITEC in HVAC, electrical systems, or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance or technical operations
- Valid certification in HVAC, electrical systems, or related specialty
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems and preventive maintenance practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends for emergency responses
