Opportunity:
A leading provider of high-performance power and propulsion solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, the organisation delivers reliable engines, decentralized energy systems, and electrification solutions across industries such as marine, energy, infrastructure, and defense.
The Job:
- Provide regional technical support and troubleshooting for power generation equipment and systems.
- Support commissioning, testing, and project delivery, ensuring compliance with technical and uptime requirements.
- Diagnose technical issues and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
- Act as the escalation point between distributors, customers, and global engineering teams.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
- Lead root cause analysis, failure investigations, and service quality improvement initiatives.
- Support aftermarket service activities, technical proposals, and lifecycle solutions.
- Manage key customer relationships and provide expert technical guidance across the region.
The Talent:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, testing and commissioning power generation / genset system.
- Experience in data center environment is a plus
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Good understanding of diesel generators, control systems, and power distribution systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 20% travel within APAC
