Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and cultivate reliable suppliers for technical goods and services in a high-tech setting. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key vendors, negotiating favorable terms to benefit procurement. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance for aspects such as quality, cost, and delivery metrics. Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure precise procurement of materials. Collaborate closely with project teams to clarify requirements and address any technical inquiries. Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), analyze supplier responses, and prepare comparative evaluations for informed decision-making. Guarantee timely delivery of materials to mitigate production delays and collaborate with planning teams for effective stock management. Implement cost reduction strategies through strategic sourcing and value engineering initiatives. Ensure all procurement processes adhere to relevant policies and comply with regulatory standards, maintaining accurate purchase and contract records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in technical procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, as well as related manufacturing processes. Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management practices. Experience in international sourcing and logistics management is an advantage. Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus. Experience in project management with strong organizational skills and an ability to thrive in an agile environment.
