The Senior Technical Manager leads technical operations and manages the technical department to deliver engineering and planning services for tender and support, overseeing all data center projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage permanent and temporary works design and optimize designs by directing appointed consultants to deliver projects within budget
- Coordinate design matters and submissions by liaising with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure compliance and timely approvals
- Oversee shop drawing submissions, plan and control design schedules, and monitor progress to meet project timelines
- Collaborate with construction and other project departments to fulfill design requirements and resolve technical issues
- Address technical queries and submit Requests for Approval/Information (RFA/I) to clarify ambiguous design details with relevant parties
- Review technical specifications and proposals from consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop procurement specifications
- Enforce adherence to workplace safety practices throughout all technical operations
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective client-facing skills and strong people orientation
- Develop and deliver clear, targeted communication to diverse audiences to support project objectives
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve high performance and ensure timely, efficient, and effective implementation of project plans.
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university endorsed by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience delivering large-scale projects

- Experience in data center projects
