Senior Technical Lead - Informatica Admin

Responsibilities

• To perform administration and maintenance tasks of Informatica Data Governance Platform: DQ, EDC (+Metadex), and Axon.
• Design, develop and implement ETL framework using Informatica Developer tool.
• Design, develop and implement UNIX Shell and Database SQL script to support Application Administration & Development.
• To design and administer ETL Job implementation through scheduling tool (Autosys / Informatica DQ).
• To perform and support unit testing, UAT and Production Implementation.
• To Perform fix, tuning and enhancement on existing ETL Job to support system and business requirement.
• To provide daily, weekly and monthly production support as required and to share regular monitoring reports to concerned stakeholders.
• Able to analyse and resolve problems associated with server hardware (Linux) and applications software (Informatica).
• Ensure project documents related to installations and configurations are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to manage change and implement enhancements that ensure the project strategy will accommodate business needs.
• Facilitate communications between the various stakeholders and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, other platform product owners, vendors, etc.
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Skills Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar areas.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of professional experience within Digital Transformation / Operations / Technology or equivalent combination.
• Expertise in software installation, upgrades, configuration, and administration activities of Informatica tool stack running on UNIX environment.
• Basic business knowledge to adopt to the existing governance modal and must be able to carry out platform BAU tasks proactively.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in Big Data stack like HDFS, HIVE etc.
• Experience with data modelling, various operating platforms, metadata management, and extensive experience with SQL and ETL.
• Hands-on experience in Informatica DQ rule development and also in deployment process.
• Experience of Data Management in Cloud and Informatica Cloud implementations is an added advantage.
• Strong self-initiative to keep up with latest releases of Informatica tool stacks and take initiative to improve current state of Data Management initiatives.
• Problem solver with ability to see things in multiple angles, constantly challenge the norm and constantly looking for better solutions to problems.
• Experience in liaising with product support team to explore, investigate an issue and implement recommended solutions.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, process skills and Experience interfacing with business users and understanding their requirements.
