Senior Technical Analyst (Construction)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Analyst to provide technical expertise, data analysis, and strategic support for construction projects. The successful candidate will analyse engineering and project data, identify risks and opportunities, improve project performance, and support digital transformation initiatives across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse technical, engineering, and construction data to support project planning and execution.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and performance analyses.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, cost, and schedule using data-driven insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports for project management and senior stakeholders.
- Evaluate project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support BIM, Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), and digital construction initiatives.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Review engineering specifications, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and project specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting technical and project data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, SQL, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM platforms, or similar digital tools.
- Knowledge of project management principles, construction workflows, and industry standards.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BIM, Digital Twin technologies, or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, or Lean Construction.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650, quality management systems, and construction regulations.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CBIP, or relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
