We're looking for a Senior Tech Network Engineer (SRE) to:
- oversee the day-to-day technical and service aspects of the regional and global network
- provide subject matter expertise in the various technologies we support
- offer technical expertise across the network environment, focusing on both delivery and operational activities
- Collaborate at all levels both internal and external to Network Services to deliver solutions and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Provide input for the Network Tools team and contribute to their goals of deploying and supporting new tools (e.g. Zabbix)
Your team
You'll be leading the Network SRE Team based in Singapore providing subject matter expertise across the full spectrum suite of platform and products. The role is to provide Network deployment and operations for Network Services both regionally and globally.
Your expertise
- Bachelor's or professional degree in computer with CCIE certification or equivalent level of experience in a 3rd line infrastructure role preferred
- 15 years of industry experience with a deep understanding of network technologies (Arista, Cisco and Juniper routers & switches) , service deployment and incident management
- strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in enterprise data center and client LAN networks (e.g., EVPN, Leaf/Spine, VRF, QoS, Multicast) & WAN technologies (e.g., SDWAN, MPLS)
- experience in routing protocols (e.g., EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), load balancing, firewalls, Network Access Control, Proxy, Cloud connectivity including Azure and AWS, network sniffers (e.g., Wireshark, TCPDUMP)
- knowledge of Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, SkyHigh Web Proxies, F5 and Citrix load balancers, monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Splunk, NetScout), automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible)
- proficient in English and Mandarin
