About the Role

We are looking for a committed, responsible and resourceful individual to join us as a Senior Teacher! If you are passionate about the English language and have experience in leading a team, we want you!

You will join the Teacher Training and Development team in the pursuit of delivering strong quality management across branches to positively impact the students learning journey with us.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes of small groups, up to 8 students.
• Facilitate teaching of 2-hour lessons according to scheduled timetable.
• Work closely with HR to interview and hire new teachers.
• Onboard and train new teachers, guiding them on teaching practices and branch procedures.
• Manage and ensure cross-branch teaching quality via termly assessments and day-to-day support.
• Handle branch-level operational matters, including relief coverage, parent communications, feedback, and withdrawals.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives such as teacher huddles, group training sessions, etc

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, Early Childhood Education, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, or equivalent in a related role
• At least 1 year in a lead/senior teacher capacity
• Experience in curriculum planning and/or familiarity with the Singapore curriculum is a plus
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about teaching and nurturing children
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Responsible, with a proactive work ethic
• Resourceful and capable of managing projects end-to-end

Work Hours: 4 weekdays and 1 weekend

• Weekdays: 1pm - 10pm
• Weekends: 8:30am - 6:30pm

Salary Range: $4200 - $5600 (Commensurate with experience and qualification)
